FIRST LOOK: Tachi Palace unveils major renovations to hotel rooms

LEMOORE, Calif. (KSEE / KGPE) – The Tachi Palace Casino Resort has revealed the state-of-the-art renovations that have been carried out to its hotel rooms.

The first phase of renovation has been completed on the second floor of the hotel, which will be open to the public on Wednesday 17 November.

On a media tour, the company gave a first look at renovations, including replacing carpet in main living areas and new tiling in entryways.

Flat-screen TVs and additional USB charging ports have also been added to all rooms at the hotel.
Some of the novelties include special high-tech touches, especially in the bathrooms.

Side-by-side photos of a bathroom door in a Tachi Palace hotel room show the special privacy glass in action.

A special switchable privacy glass has been installed, allowing guests to see inside the bathroom when it is off, and takes on a frosted appearance when it is on.

“We have the state-of-the-art bathroom with smart glass technology, so the bathrooms are all closed with glass, and you press a button, everything automatically smokes,” explained Managing Director Michal. Olujic.

“We did some really cool stuff representing the community baskets with actually some cattle hide leather and laser engraved basketwork and Tule. We really have all the technological features with all the USB plug-ins.
