Only 12 months after the release of his first EP Cash onlyHope D and her band will embark on their biggest tour yet to kick off the release of her new single, “Hate Goodbyes.”
“I wrote ‘Hate Goodbyes’ in 2018 about a relationship that constantly ended and started again,” Hope D said of her latest post. “It was hard to realize that we shouldn’t be together and to call it all off completely, but the thought of that final goodbye was so unbearable that we continually maintained the relationship after it ended.
“I would accept the reality that we were only together because it was painful not to be, which caused spirals, emotional cuts and yet another breakup.”
In this track, his signature pop-rock sound shines through, creating a sound that pulls you deep inside and doesn’t let go. The track was teased on his previous tour and is now set to hit the spotlight on his new Australian tour which will run through April and May.
Hope’s single “Second” managed to reach No. 69 on the triple j’s Hottest 100 for 2020. Last year. His single “Addict” landed him No. 195 on the Triple J Hottest 200 of 2021.
