Accommodation: For your sleepover, the new Vintage Hideaway is a cute retro collection of three Airstream trailers. The familiar mid-20th century aluminum motorhomes were outfitted for glamping with kitchens, indoor toilets, and sleeping quarters for two to four people.
Entrepreneurs Allison Barnes and Jessie Schenk located their small estate just inside a vineyard and next to a farm. Just getting there is therefore a pastoral experience, passing in front of haystacks and across a field. And you spend the night in peace, surrounded by greenery.
Airstreams are decked out with kitschy accessories like colorful throw pillows, 1940s magazines, and pre-iPad board games. It’s motorhome life so there are folding dining tables and sofa beds to save space. The experience is compact, comfortable and slightly adventurous.

You can shop, sip, or take a vineyard tour that includes a tasting of four wines, a cheese and cold meats snack, and a lesson on topics such as growing in cold climates.
âWe’re pioneers in producing Chardonnay and Pinot Noir so far north, so we bury the vines during the winter,â Mastersmith said. “But we are at the same latitude as Burgundy, France, and we have good soil composition, drainage and sun exposure on our southwest facing slope.”

Joe’s Italian cuisine: Joe Price and Joe Princiotta operate the first certified pinsaria in Canada. What is a pinsaria, you ask? It looks like a pizzeria, except the signature dish is pinsa, a sausage-shaped pie with a crust made from a mixture of sourdough, rice, soy and wheat flour.
