Interstate Hotels and Resorts, the international arm of Aimbridge Hospitality, has been appointed as the management company for England’s first ‘Tribe’ hotel by the Accor family, due to open at Manchester Airport in 2023
Owned by H3 Hotels Sarl, the new nine-story hotel will house 412 rooms and suites as well as four restaurants and bars, a gym and an airline staff lounge, located on Chicago Avenue at Manchester Airport .
The property is part of Airport City Manchester, a £1 billion development site comprising hotels and retail, as well as state-of-the-art offices, manufacturing and logistics facilities.
Meanwhile, the signing marks Interstate’s third management contract at the Manchester Airport site, joining the 280-room Holiday Inn and 262-room Ibis Budget properties due to open in 2022.
Launched in 2019 by Accor, more than 150 Tribe hotels are expected to open worldwide over the next five years.
Overall, Interstate Hotels and Resorts has a pan-European portfolio of 138 properties in the UK, Western Europe, Eastern Europe and Russia/CIS.
