The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced a 4 night / 5 day Pondicherry New Years package with Tirupati Balaji Darshan that will cover Kolkata, Chennai, Tirupati, Kanchipuram, Pondicherry and Mahabalipuram. The Indian Railways tour will start from December 29, 2021 to January 2, 2022. According to the IRCTC website, only 20 tourists can be on this trip.

PRICE PER PERSON FOR THE NEW YEAR PONDICHERRY PACKAGE WITH TIRUPATI BALAJI DARSHAN

The fare for the trip from Kolkata will cost Rs 45,180 per adult, while for an adult in a double room it will cost Rs 34,710 per person. For those who book tickets for three adults, the fare will be Rs 32,760 per person.

The price per child (2 years to 4 years old) without extra bed, the cost will be Rs 19,560, while for a child between 5 years old to 11 years old with extra bed, the cost will be Rs 19,810.

IRCTC Pondicherry New Year Package with Tirupati Balaji Darshan Package will include airfare to Kolkata-Chennai, Chennai-Kolkata, all transfers and sightseeing in AC vehicle, luxury category accommodation, breakfast lunch and dinner (4 breakfasts + 04 dinners), tours as per itinerary, Tirupati Balaji VIP Darshan ticket and travel insurance.

COVID-19 GUIDELINES

In order to ensure the safety of tourists in the face of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the IRCTC has issued an opinion. According to the IRCTC website, a thermal check will be carried out for all passengers, the rules regarding Covid will be updated from time to time and electronic registration is required.

5 THINGS TO REMEMBER BEFORE STARTING THE TRIP:

1. All passengers must download the Aarogya Setu app.

2. RTPCR A negative test report within 48 hours of travel will continue to be mandatory. Any passenger not carrying a negative RTPCR report will be returned to the origin the same day.

3. Handwritten reports are not acceptable.

4. Any passenger arriving without a negative RT-PCR test report will be deported on the same flight.

5. Passengers will not be allowed to collect their checked baggage in the arrival hall. This will be given to them at the examination center.

DECEMBER 29: Calcutta – Chennai – Tirupati: Arrive at Chennai airport at 11:20 am. Transfer to Tirupati and installation at the hotel. Visit the Shree Kalahasti (Lord Shiva) temple and visit the temple of the goddess Shree Padmavati. Dinner and overnight in Tirupati.

DECEMBER 30: Tirupati – Pondicherry: After breakfast, visit of Tirumala temple (temple of Lord Balaji). After lunch, check out from hotel, start your journey to Pondicherry, then visit Kanchipuram. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Pondicherry.

THE 31ST OF DECEMBER: Pondicherry: After breakfast, city tour of Pondicherry Guided tour of Aurobindo Ashram, Manakula Vinyagar temple, Promenade beach, Chunnambar boathouse, Pondicherry beach. Evening free for shopping and your own activities. New Year’s party with all-you-can-eat gala buffet dinner and overnight stay in Pondicherry.

JANUARY 1ST : Pondicherry – Chennai: After breakfast, transfer to Chennai and en-route visit to Auroville Matri Mandir and Mahabalipuram. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Enjoy the evening in the famous Marina Beach. Dinner and overnight in Chennai.

JANUARY 2: Chennai – Calcutta: After breakfast, Chennai city tour covering ISKCON temple, Kapaleeshwar temple, San Thome church, St. Goerge fort, Egmore meseum. Transfer to Chennai airport for return flight at 9:05 pm to Calcutta.
