Fiorentina have agreed to sign Jovic on a permanent deal after Real Madrid made the decision to cut their losses with the 24-year-old.
The two clubs discussed a potential loan deal for Jovic but Real were eager to leave Jovic and then negotiated a 50% sell clause instead.
Jovic is expected to sign a two-year deal with the club, keeping him until at least June 2024.
However, his contract with the Serie A outfit will have the option to extend for another two years.
