The report from Arsenal Consulting, a US-based digital forensics consultancy, claimed that two backups of an Apple iPhone owned by Wilson had digital traces showing an infection with the Pegasus monitoring tool. .
He said a NetWire RAT (Remote Access Trojan) was used “for the purpose of monitoring and delivering incriminating documents” on Wilson’s phone.
