UNITED STATES. Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is due to issue a request for proposals (RFP) for its duty-free concession in January. Previously, a special “Duty Free Industry Day” will be held for potential partners at the airport on October 24.
The airport company is marketing the opportunity via the Moodie Davitt Report starting today (see the banner on our homepage and a special advertisement in our October magazine, available in digital and hard copy at TFWA World Expo).
Industry Day later this month begins at 10 a.m. local time and represents an opportunity for potential business partners, ACDBE companies, designers and contractors to review the Concourse A space (departures international standards) and to assess design and construction requirements.
Registration is possible until October 21 with a link via the QR code indicated in our announcements.
Dufry is the incumbent duty-free retailer.
To note: The Moodie Davitt Report is the industry’s most popular channel for initiating business proposals and publishing the results. If you would like to promote an expression of interest, request for proposals or a full tender process for any area of airport revenue or other travel-related infrastructure, simply email Martin Moodie at [email protected]
We have a variety of options that will allow you to reach the largest and most qualitative dealer/retailer/operator base in the industry – globally and immediately.

We encompass all commercial revenue, including duty-free and other sales, food and beverage, real estate, passenger lounges, hotels, parking lots, hospitals and other medical facilities, internet, advertising and sources of related income.
