âWinning the title this year has been very special for me. Unfortunately it was with few people, in a year of pandemic and others, but I know that in February I will surely end up with a full stadium and enjoy the fact that people can see the best again. tennis here in Buenos Aires.
I hope to repeat a great year and enjoy with all the people who will surely come, âsaid the Peque happily. Novak Djokovic has had a phenomenal 2021 season.
Djokovic had a phenomenal 2021 season
Recently, in an interview with Russian media outlet K1 Televizija, Novak Djokovic’s father Srdjan Djokovic shed some light on the matter.
“They (Tennis Australia) have to decide whether they will let Novak in,” Srdjan said. “If they decide (not to let Novak play), they have support for their decision.” It seems likely that Novak Djokovic could miss the competition for his 21st Grand Slam.
In fact, he could also miss his Australian Open record of 10 titles. “He’s won the Australian Open nine times, now he wants to play – but they have to allow him to play,” his father explained.
Srdjan was asked what the team would do if they were ultimately not allowed to play at the Australian Open. “We will wait for Rolland Garros and his 21st (21st Grand Slam victory)”, he replied. âHe will still win a few Grand Slam titles until his retirement. I think 4 or 5, âpredicted Srdjan.
